What To Wear On The Golf Course This Summer

As one of the wettest winters and springs on record finally looks like bursting into summer – there’s no better time to plan your new summer golf look. You can dress like your favourite pros, or mix and match to create your own perfect look, the choice is yours. Just remember, if you look good, you’ll feel good, and the chances are – you’ll Play Great!

Now the only decision is what item do you choose first to start to build your new summer golfing look, shirts, trousers or shoes?

Personally, I always start with the shirts. And there’s no better place to start than the latest D-Vent range, which feature a ventilation insert that moves with your swing, keeping you cool even under the most demanding pressure. This two-tone range also comes in a great selection of colours including red with a blue collar, light blue with a navy collar, and black with a grey collar. Alternatively, you could go for the more traditional-looking range of Cobra Branded Shirts, which come in a variety of colours, including the increasingly fashionable orange famously worn by current Players Champion and Scottish Open Champion Rickie Fowler. However, he’s not the only professional wearing this brilliant range of clothing, and new-kid-on-the-block Bryson De Chambeau can be seen strutting down the fairways in them, as well as current Irish Open Champion Soren Kjeldson.

If you want to be at the height of fashion this summer, then it may well be time to splash-out on a pair of Puma Joggers, designed personally by golf-fashion icon Rickie Fowler. These come with an elasticated cut-hem aimed at improving comfort and athleticism. However, if you’re a little more traditional, then you can’t go wrong with Puma’s 6 Pocket Pant design. Made from Moisture Wicking Dry-Cell Fabric, they offer maximum comfort and breathability, whilst a special scorecard-pocket has also been incorporated. They come in a range of colours including white, which is very popular amongst the world’s elite golfers at the moment, as well as blue and grey – and yes they’re also available in Rickie Fowler signature orange.

If you want to walk one-step ahead of the field this summer, then it’s time to order yourself a pair of Rickie Fowler’s Puma High Top Golf Shoes, especially if you’ve already taken a fancy to a pair of Puma Joggers. These ankle-high shoes come complete with Puma Ignite foam cushioning for stability and in-step comfort, as well as pig-skin inners, and a secure Velcro-strap. Meanwhile, if you prefer a more contemporary trainer-style golf shoe, you’ll be the envy of your friends as you stroll down the fairway in a pair of Puma’s Titan Tour Ignite Golf Shoes, which feature a Duo-Flex Outstep and PWRCool temperature regulating comfort.

If you’re a big Rickie Fowler fan, a player who has been with Puma since 2010, then why not check-out some of his great outfits, such as the four fashionable outfits he wore at the 2016 US Masters. The 27-year-old certainly knows how to turn on the style, and adults and children all over the world are copying one of the golf’s biggest and flashiest fashion icons.

If Ricky is flashy, then Puma’s latest signing Bryson “The Mechanic” Dechambeau has to be one of the coolest new kids around. Film star looks and a unique attitude towards the game of golf have thrown him straight into the limelight, but the Dechambeau-look is every bit as cool as his persona.

Meanwhile, whilst Puma golf clothing may be a big-hit with young golfers, Soren Kjeldson also shows that the over-40s look every bit as good in it too, and Soren’s style is bound to be popular amongst plenty of middle-age men who, just like Soren, want to feel and look younger than they are.

Once you’ve picked out an outfit or two, don’t forget to finish them off by accessorising them with the latest range of Puma Caps, Belts and Gloves. The Puma Script Snapback Caps come in a choice of two-tone designs, and feature Rickie Fowler’s trademark flat-bill. They also feature a 3D Metallic Logo Effect, a Moisture Wicking Sweatband and Side Mesh Panels. Meanwhile, you can really set your outfit off with matching belts and gloves. The Puma Belts come in two main designs, the Script Belt and the High Flyer, with the Script displaying Puma on the buckle, and the High Flyer featuring the Puma logo flying across the buckle. Finally, finish-off your outfit with the a Cabretta Leather Puma Gold Glove that feature Double-Lined Perforated Fingers, and a Velcro Closure Tab.

So, if you want to start looking great, feeling great, and playing great, isn’t it time you treated yourself to some great summery golf gear from a Puma range that will make keep you cool under pressure – and make you look even cooler!
