Nico Rosberg has made good the pole position achieved on Saturday at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez that took victory in the GP of Mexico. The German and ending the winning streak of Lewis Hamilton was second although this and cares little less after certifying the title in Austin.
The Mercedes have had no problems to make another double but the fight for the podium has had more alternatives. Finally Valtteri Bottas was the one who took the third position, leaving behind the Red Bull of Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Carlos Sainz could not reach the points and was 13th while Fernando Alonso left without even completing the first return.
Mexico’s race was held on a dry track despite some forecasts announced rain. The output was a key moment because Rosberg had several careers unable to hold off Hamilton when the lights went out but this time the German went well and was able to maintain the first position. Behind Kvyat up to third position while Vettel Ricciardo and touched in an incident that detracted from Ferrari race because he prodded, had to enter the box and from there everything went against the grain.
