The Spanish Formula 1 fans just bring us a major setback after confirming the news that Fernando Alonso cannot get on the McLaren-Honda in the first Grand Prix of the season. The health status of the Asturian is correct but doctors have advised him to rest a little before turning to expose the risks involved in piloting big circus.
In recent weeks there had been talk of this possibility but almost everyone saw it as something remote as Alonso himself had used social media to say it was perfect and back to training. In a statement issued today by McLaren-Honda doctors also point out that Alonso is right and who have not encountered any problems in the tests referred to it but prefer to wait for the Malaysian Grand Prix which takes place in late March.
The doubts about the accident Alonso will continue after this news because it seemed a blow that required tests as a precaution became three days of hospitalization, absence in the second round of the Barcelona test and now no GP Australia even though the first round of the championship will not start until three weeks after the accident.
