The Alicante David Ferrer (8) played an excellent tennis on Monday before the American bomber John Isner (10) and won in straight sets to become the only Spanish in the quarterfinals of men in Australia.
Ferru which has already been semi-finalist here in 2011 and 2013 will face Britain’s Andy Murray (2) a regular finalist in Melbourne (last six versions of it has been in four) also dispatched by fast local Australian Tomic Bernard (16).
David did not arrive in the best way to Australia. There was disappointed in Doha and later in Auckland. With serious ups and downs, you will not go so far predicted the Australian hard court. But Jávea is one of those players who have a claw and pride as few in the circuit. Gradually, game by game has been oiling the machinery and today was a great level to weather the aces of John Isner and maximize their chances of breaking along the duel.
